If we believe in the book, we offer to list it on Stillfire Press. If it is not the right fit, we will tell you honestly.

You Sell

Your book gets its own page on stillfirepress.com. We handle checkout. You keep your rights and the vast majority of every sale.

What We Are Looking For

Fantasy & Science Fiction

We accept submissions in fantasy (literary, epic, dark, urban, secondary world) and science fiction (hard, soft, space opera, near-future, dystopian). We are not currently accepting other genres.

Complete Manuscripts Only

Your book must be finished. We do not accept partial drafts, outlines, or proposals. We need to read the whole thing before we can decide.

Human-Written

Every book on Stillfire Press is blockchain-verified and written by a human being. We do not accept AI-generated manuscripts. If AI was used as an editorial aid, that is fine — but the prose must be yours.

The Deal

You keep all rights to your work. Stillfire Press does not acquire rights, ever.

Your book gets its own page on stillfirepress.com with a dedicated Stripe checkout.

Your manuscript will be blockchain-verified before your first sale — immutable proof of authorship.

You receive 85% of every sale. Stillfire Press keeps 15% for storefront, infrastructure, and curation.

Either party can end the arrangement at any time. Your book, your call.

We will be honest with you. If the book is not ready, we will tell you why.

Common Questions

Do I lose any rights to my book?

No. You retain all rights to your work. Stillfire Press is a storefront, not a rights holder. You can remove your book at any time.

What is the revenue split?

You receive 85% of every sale. Stillfire Press keeps 15% for storefront infrastructure, Stripe processing, blockchain verification, and curation. Stripe's processing fee (approximately 3%) comes out of our 15%.

Do you accept previously published books?

Yes, as long as you hold the rights. If your book was previously published through a traditional publisher and they still hold rights, we cannot list it.

What does blockchain verification mean?

Before your book goes on sale, we cryptographically hash the manuscript and record it on the Polygon blockchain. This creates permanent, tamper-proof evidence that you wrote the book and when it was verified. It costs you nothing.

How long until I hear back?

Within 30 days. Usually sooner. We read everything ourselves, so it takes as long as it takes to read your book honestly.

What if you reject my book?

We will tell you why. Not every book is the right fit for our storefront, and that is not a judgment on your writing. We will be honest and respectful.
